1. Participation & Eligibility

• All participants must be 18 years of age or older.
• Participation requires payment prior to registration. Payment may be split into flexible monthly instalments; however, the final instalment must be received no later than 16th January 2027, before judging commences.
• Participants must be registered on www.dubaipmuchampionship.com to compete in the five main championship categories.
• Only candidates holding valid permanent makeup qualifications are eligible to enter the main categories.
• A maximum of 3 categories may be entered per participant. Each category may only be entered once.
• Participation is open globally. The Dubai PMU Championship operates as a standalone event; winners represent themselves and their work on an international stage in Dubai.

2. Registration & Work Submission

• Registration closes on 16th January 2027. Deadlines are published on www.dubaipmuchampionship.com and apply equally to all participants and categories.
• All championship submissions must be uploaded digitally through www.dubaipmuchampionship.com.
• Each entry must include one model, photographed from multiple angles and zoom levels as specified in the upload instructions.
• All before-and-after photos must meet the specific requirements outlined in the upload instructions for each category.
• Work must be submitted under the correct category. If a correction is required, the participant must contact the organiser within 48 hours of payment.
• Failure to upload completed work by the stated deadline will result in automatic disqualification. No refunds will be issued in this case.
• Disqualified or non-submitting participants who wish to attend any associated live event must purchase their ticket separately at full price.

3. Judging Process

• All judging is completely anonymous. Jury members do not have access to participant names or identities at any stage.
• Submitted works are assessed using the official Dubai PMU Championship scoring sheet, standardised and applied consistently across all entries.
• Winners are determined based on the average score awarded by the jury panel.
• A minimum of 4 participants must be registered in a category for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes to be awarded. If this minimum is not met, the category may be cancelled and entry fees refunded.
• Participants are strictly prohibited from contacting jurors regarding their submitted work at any time, before or after judging.

4. Image & Media Requirements

• Only original, previously unpublished work is permitted. Any entry that has appeared on social media, websites, printed materials, brochures, or any other public forum will be disqualified immediately.
• Entries must not be shared publicly until the official announcement of results has been made.
• Any violations discovered after the results announcement will result in disqualification and cancellation of any prize awarded.
• All submitted photos and videos must comply with the following requirements:
  • Taken before and after using the same camera or mobile phone device.
  • Shot on a neutral white background only.
  • Free from creams, product packaging, text, logos, or watermarks of any kind.
  • Completely unedited — no beautifying filters, retouching, or colour correction.
  • Models must not wear any makeup at the time of photography, with the exception of false lashes and mascara in eyebrow and lip categories.
• All completed work must appear clean, precise, and natural.

5. Winners — Dubai Prizes & Benefits

There will be 5 winners in total — one per category. The following prizes are awarded exclusively to the 5 winners. Benefits are non-transferable and do not extend to partners, assistants, photographers, or any accompanying persons.

5.1 Travel & Accommodation

• 3 nights’ accommodation in a 5-star hotel in Dubai (double room, shared with one other winner).
• Desert Safari experience exclusive to the 5 winners.
• Winners will be presented with their official Dubai PMU Trophy on stage during the Red Carpet Gala Dinner Awards Night, held as part of the Desert Gala celebration.
• Travel costs to and from Dubai are not covered and remain the sole responsibility of each winner.

5.2 Top Demonstrator Opportunity at PMU Beauty World

Each winner will be featured as a Top Demonstrator at the Grand Conference, PMU Beauty World, in Dubai from 25th–27th March 2027. This prestigious opportunity includes:

5.3 Multiple Category Winners

Should one participant win more than one category, they may only take the stage as a Top Demonstrator in a single category at the Grand Conference in Dubai. The participant must notify the organiser of their chosen category within 2 days of the official results announcement.

In any category where the 1st place winner steps down to demonstrate in a different category, the Top Demonstrator opportunity and all associated Dubai prizes for that category will be passed to the 2nd place finalist, who will be invited to represent that category in Dubai instead.

5.4 Winner Withdrawal

If for any reason a winner is unable to travel to Dubai or chooses to withdraw from the live event, they must inform the organiser as soon as possible. Prompt communication is essential to allow the 2nd place finalist sufficient time to make the necessary arrangements to attend in their place.

In such cases, all Dubai prizes and the Top Demonstrator opportunity will be transferred in full to the 2nd place finalist of the relevant category.

In any category where the 1st place winner steps down to demonstrate in a different category, the Top Demonstrator opportunity and all associated Dubai prizes for that category will be passed to the 2nd place finalist, who will be invited to represent that category in Dubai instead.

6. Health, Safety & Models

• The organiser does not supply models or treatment products. Participants are responsible for arranging their own.
• All treatments performed as part of the championship must strictly comply with applicable health and safety regulations.
• Participants are responsible for ensuring their model provides informed consent for all procedures performed.

7. Refunds & Disqualifications

• All entry fees are strictly non-refundable, including in cases of disqualification due to late submission, missing uploads, or rule violations.
• The organiser reserves the right to disqualify any participant who breaches these Terms & Conditions at any stage of the competition.
• Participants are not permitted to contact jurors regarding their submitted work under any circumstances.
• Any breach of media embargo rules (sharing work before the official results announcement) will result in immediate disqualification and forfeiture of any prize.

8. Organisational Disclaimers

• The organiser is not responsible for any technical difficulties experienced during the submission process. Participants are encouraged to submit work well in advance of deadlines.
• The organiser reserves the right to amend deadlines, event dates, programme details, or these Terms & Conditions at any time. All registered participants will be notified of any material changes in a timely manner.
• The organiser accepts no liability for travel disruptions, personal injury, loss, or damage incurred before, during, or after the event.
• The organiser accepts no liability in the event that the Grand Conference or any associated live event is cancelled, postponed, or relocated due to circumstances beyond the organiser’s reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of war, armed conflict, geopolitical instability, government-imposed restrictions, natural disasters, or any other force majeure event. In such circumstances, the organiser will make every reasonable effort to reschedule or provide an alternative arrangement for winners, however no financial compensation will be due.
• Prizes are provided as described and cannot be exchanged for cash or any alternative.

9. Consent & Data

• By registering, participants grant the organiser the right to use submitted photos, videos, and brand materials for promotional purposes related to the Dubai PMU Championship and PMU Beauty World, including social media, print, and digital publications.
• Participant data will be stored and processed in accordance with applicable data protection regulations and will not be shared with third parties for unrelated commercial purposes.
• By completing registration and paying the entry fee, participants confirm they have read, understood, and agreed to all Terms & Conditions outlined in this document.
